Payment Policy

The typical psychotherapy session length is 45 minutes. The fee for a 45-minute session is $145 and can be paid by credit, debit or HSA. Occasionally, we may decide to extend the session to 60 minutes which will be $195. If you wish to utilize health insurance, I will file the claim on your behalf. Your insurance company will then reimburse you according to your out-of-network benefit terms. I am authorized to practice in all PsyPact states. Additional details will be provided in your initial client paperwork and via the secure client portal.

Cancelation Policy

A 48-hour notice of cancelation is requested. You may cancel via the appointment reminder, text or email. If you provide less than 24 hours notice of cancelation, you will be charged the full hourly rate unless we agree that the circumstances warrant otherwise. Please understand that insurance companies do not cover late cancelation and missed session fees.

Good Faith Estimate

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

A Good Faith Estimate is for your awareness only. It does NOT involve you needing to make any type of commitment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 800-985-3059.
